Ingredients:
- Cut up or whole chicken
- Boiling Water
- Corn
- Diced Carrots
- Minced Onion
- Diced Celery
- Salt and pepper
- Garlic powder
- Ginger
- Basil
- Parsley
- Maggie Chicken noodlle
- What every you want to put in
Place the cut up chicken in a large pot and bring to boil. Continue to boil slowly for 30-40 minutes depending upon how large the chicken is. My son does not like too much meat so a few pieces of chicken is good to give the flavor and richness of the soup. Before you see the meat start to separate from the bone add your vegetable.. carrots, onions, green onions tyme or any vegetables that you and your family like into your love portion.
If necessary for quantity, add more water and maggi chicken noodle base paste which is a secret ingredient to any caribbean soup dishes. Both of these have salt so wait on this for awhile. For people that don't taste food well, add more chicken base paste and bump the flavor. It's amazing what this can do.
Add about a half tsp of garlic powder and dice ginger as much as you want into the pot. Remember your adding dicing and storing the soup as you go.. and don't forget a few of your favorite little songs to sing along to when cooking the soup. Toss in your diced onions, celery, and carrots to cook until they are tender.
Add pasta or you could put some potatoes and dumplings and cook till done.
Add parsley, salt and pepper to taste, and top it off with some dried or a sprig of basil. In little or no time your soup is ready to be serve and will leave your family loving you even more and making them wanting your chic soup all the time... They say chicken soups heal the soul and it surely make us say Amen on the corner and always leaving us feeling good... Amen.. Amen
