Its with great saddness that i announce the death of my belove grandfather Matthew Robinson..(September 1916-August 2009). My grandfather was my super hero.. my super star.. and he will be greatly miss my me and my entire family... usually on the corner we are having fun and lots of laughs... but today i pause to remember the man that was...

In the great words of one unknown author i listen:

Am Always With You When I am gone, release me, let me go.I have so many things to see and do, You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears, But be thankful we had so many good years.I gave you my love, and you can only guess How much you've given me in happiness. I thank you for the love that you have shown, But now it is time I traveled on alone. So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must...Then let your grief be comforted by trust ..That it is only for a while that we must part, So treasure the memories within your heart. I won't be far away for life goes on. And if you need me, call and I will come. Though you can't see or touch me, I will be near And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear All my love around you soft and clear And then, when you come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and a "Welcome Home".

So i asked each of you as you journey pass my blog on the corner.... i hope you will take time remember the man that was and the man that will live on within all of our lives.. And take time to reach out to a friend or a family member and let them know how much you love them and truly value who they are... because as the old gospel song goes we all have to go some day... and god will be with us in death as he is in live... stay well... and walk good and i hope next time we meet on the corner i will be sharing my memories of jamaica and looking forward to my fall vocation in europe.. so all my friends and followers from all over the world... i have you all in my prayers and i hope you all have me in yours....Merick
